Advocacy

The ALS Association is the only national not-for-profit health agency dedicated solely to the fight against ALS through research, patient and community services, public education and advocacy. The Association's affiliate network includes chapters in communities throughout the nation. For more information about ALS and the work of The ALS Association, please visit www.alsa.org

Please visit ALSA's site to take part in the walk in your area~ http://www.alsa.org

ALSA's "Walk to d'feet ALS" logo

The ALS Association accepts donations of cars and boats in any condition. ALSA's vehicle processing company, Car Program LLC, will contact you to arrange for pickup of your vehicle and will provide you with a receipt for tax purposes. It's a great way to save the hassle of selling or disposing of your old car or boat, and ALSA will receive the proceeds from the sale of the vehicle, after expenses. Please call The ALS Association National Office Development Department toll-free at 888-949-2577 for details.

ALSA Chapters are tax-exempt 501 (c)3 organizations. Chapters exist to raise money for ALS research, to provide services for persons with ALS and their families, to raise awareness about ALS, and to advocate for PALS and caregivers. Donations will support patient services and research initiatives of The ALS Association.
